To mark 65 years of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland we want to celebrate some of the special people who make up the cystic fibrosis community.
Ruby Jubilee Award Categories
Nominate someone special to receive a Ruby Jubilee Awards in their area of skills and expertise.
Cystic Fibrosis Warrior Award
The Cystic Fibrosis Warrior is for an individual who has dedicated their own time and energy into raising awareness of cystic fibrosis whilst exemplifying Embracing Tomorrow.
This could be somebody who has focused on a particular issue to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis by sharing their own story by using their social media platform to create videos, reels, TikToks or Instagram Lives. This award is for somebody who has the drive and determination to make changes for people living with cystic fibrosis. Ideally, you would have also raised funds are awareness for cystic fibrosis. This category is open to all adults living with cystic fibrosis. Voting will be limited to members of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland.
Junior Cystic Fibrosis Warrior Award (18 years or under)
The Junior Cystic Fibrosis Warrior is for an individual 18 years or under who has demonstrated drive and resilience in raising awareness of cystic fibrosis acting as a voice for the younger cystic fibrosis community through their involvement with raising funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis Queensland. This category is open to all children living with cystic fibrosis as well as their siblings and friends. Voting will be limited to members of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland.
Champion Fundraiser Award
The Champion Fundraiser Award recognises an individual/group who has made an outstanding effort to fundraise for Cystic Fibrosis Queensland (more than $100 000.00 over the past 10 years).
This is our way of acknowledging all the community fundraising champions. Nominations are open to anyone who you think deserves recognition. Voting will be limited to the CEO and Fundraising team at Cystic Fibrosis Queensland.
Champion Advocate Award
This person has a unique set of skills – passion, persistence, and persuasiveness – and has worked tirelessly to support Cystic Fibrosis Queensland to deliver real and tangible change. This person must be a member of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland and while nominations are open, voting is limited to the employees and board of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland.
Champion Corporate Partner Award
The Champion Corporate Partner Award recognises a group who has made an outstanding effort to fundraise for Cystic Fibrosis Queensland. This is our way of acknowledging all the corporate fundraising champions. Nominations are open to anyone who you think deserves recognition. Voting will be limited to the CEO and Fundraising team at Cystic Fibrosis Queensland.
Champion Volunteer Award
This person has a tireless commitment and devotion to our cause, often working in the background and never expecting the limelight. Open to all volunteers with five years of service or more, voting is limited to the employees of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland.
